Small businesses interested in becoming airport rental car suppliers can attend a virtual event and webinar hosted by the state Department of Transportation from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. April 26.

The event will inform small businesses of contracting opportunities with car rental companies located at Hawaii’s airports, including Kahului. Representatives from Maui, Molokai, Oahu, Hawaii island and Kauai will answer questions on providing goods and services to car rental agencies, various contracting opportunities, the Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise certification process, additional supplier diversity certifications and other benefits for small businesses.

It is not a requirement to be a certified disadvantaged business to attend the event.

Participants must register by Monday at forms.office.com/g/WqpudhybEM.
