NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Crawfish prices begin to fall at local seafood businesses.

The Crawfish App says Louisiana’s average boiled crawfish prices have dropped three dollars a pound over the last few weeks.

Crawfish prices, on average, currently sit at 9.60 cents in Southwest Louisiana.

Prices have slowly dropped since the start of the season.

Businesses across the state are hoping the lower cost will soon start to attract customers.

Businesses are optimistic prices will go down even more by Easter.
